Open Source since 2011
The Gatling project is open-souce since its very beginning, in 2011, and licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
The Gatling team had a booth at the Paris Open Source Summit in 2015, 2016 and 2017!
Member of Systematic's Open Source taskforce
Gatling joined Systematic in 2015, as a member of the Open Source taskforce ("Groupe de Travail - Logiciel Libre (GTLL)" in French). In 2016, Gatling has been elected to Systematic's board of directors.
Systematic gathers startups, big corporations, universities, research centers and public organizations in Paris region.
The Systematic Cluster’s members are in the heart of the digital revolution either as researchers and developers or as application users in the fields of automotive, defence, telecommunications and design tools.
Gatling proudly contributes to other open-source projects
Gatling depends on and contributes to other open-source projects: Async HTTP Client and Netty.
The Async Http Client library's purpose is to allow Java applications to easily execute HTTP requests and asynchronously process the HTTP responses.
Netty is an asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients.
