We are very happy to announce that we’ve just released Gatling 2.3.0.
This new minor version is the continuation of the 2.2 series, with the long awaited Scala 2.12 upgrade.
We’ve also upgraded most of our dependencies to latest versions and shipped a few fixes. Please check milestone content for more information.
Depending on your use case, you might enjoy some performance improvements, eg thanks to Scala 2.12 emitting Java 8 bytecode.
This upgrade is very stable and FrontLine customers have been using it for several months, so we strongly recommend upgrading.
Note that the 2.2 branch will no longer be maintained.
We’ve also released the Gatling sbt-plugin 2.2.2 that supports sbt 1.0. Kudos to Kenji Yoshida for this great contribution!
We hope you’ll like it!
We didn’t take time to celebrate but last month Gatling has reached more than 800,000 downloads! We can’t thank our users enough! 45,000 downloads only for August, the project is growing more and more thanks to you!
It has been a long way since our first stable release (in January 2012), to be continued! We hope to celebrate with you our 1,000,000th download by the end of the year!
